WOMAD- Charlton Park 2011

I love going to Womad music festival with my lovely sister Nicolette.
It is a great festival full of world music, dance and craft workshops as well as many live shows, shops, food places, a spa, a steam fair, a kids world, world of well being and much much more!

Activities we joined in with included making Indian puppets, getting henna tatooos, going on rides, taking part in trapeze lessons, watching the indian circus, doing cooking lessons and doing african dancing and drumming!

here are some pictures..

We are being extras- (not talking props)

I have been doing extra work for the bbc lately and its been quite good plus the money is going in a puppy fund and a saving account.
I can't give away any details but the shows are
young dracula series 3
the 4 o' clock club
and waterloo road
some of the actors are kind and down to earth which is nice, I wont mention the other few.
my people!

spanishy type people

its not all fun and games I nearly killed her!

I have recently had a Spanish student stay with me here are my observations on the experience...
. Spanish people find it mega funny when an English person can't pronounce paella properly but when they can't pronounce palaeontologist properly they don't find the joke funny.
. They get on with any other Spanish people unlike us we often hate other English people
. Instead of facebook they use a network called Tuenti
errm thats it really...
Me and my friend clover both took in an exchange student hers was called Gabriella and mine was called Paula we both found it a rewarding and educational experience.
here are some pictures I will share with you....
